The game is a known sandbox, do whatever you want, however, as it got popular, people have started making gamemodes for Garry's Mod, like TTT (Trouble in Terrorist Town) where a singular or multiple "Traitors" must kill Innocents and Detective without being killed by them.

Garry's Mod is known to be exploited thanks to the code it allows users to run, users with gDaap Bypassers could easilly run arbitrary LUA code to give themselves advantages or full on exploit servers in various gamemodes to alter their statistics, give themselves admin powers or completely download the server files.

Most LUA files used by bypassers are usually leaks which are severely outdated.

However it is still possible to edit them thanks to how clear and simple LUA is to edit.
