Artix Entertainment, LLC is an independent video game developing and publishing company founded by Adam Bohn (better known to players by his pseudonym, Artix Krieger) in October 2002. Artix is very well known for making browser-based RPG (role playing games). Artix has developed and produced several games such as Adventure Quest, Adventure Quest Worlds, Epic Dual, Dragon Fable, MechQuest, and the first ever 3D game: Adventure Quest 3D. The first game Artix created was Adventure Quest, and the domain name they used was '''www.battleon.com''' therefore, most of these games can also be called Battleon games due to the domain.

AdventureQuest (also referred to by its website name BattleOn or abbreviated to AQ) is an online flash-based single-player role-playing video game started in 2002, and currently developed by Artix Entertainment. Adventure Quest was the first game Artix Entertainment released way back in 2002 and is still running to this day. Unfortunately, the development for Adventure Quest has been ceased due to all the newer games Artix has been working out, the game still has a small but loyal player base who still enjoy the game.
